Vélorail et train touristique du Larzac — Attraction in Millau

I love the concept of Velorail. I think it's such a smart way to repurpose old train tracks that are not serving a purpose. I went to this specific one eight years ago with my daughter who was 3 years old and it just went back two weeks ago with all three kids this time. The whole family had a great time! We did the Orchid trail. This particular velorail has a wonderful view and goes through four tunnels. It also has a stop at an old train station which has been repurpose into a little cafe. This was a good ride out, an 8km cycle ride on large 4 person steel bicycles that run on the old railway tracks. Our trip was spoilt by the very rude and selfish attitude of the French group sharing the return train journey🤔 They basically hogged the seats available making us feel very uncomfortable in asking to be able to sit for the return trip. Very sad and if it were the other way round I would want to make sure visitor's to my country had a good and enjoyable time. Embarrassing, but...

A brilliant experience, combining an ingenious idea with wonderful scenery. The staff are engaging and helpful, there are good drinks and snacks. Best enjoyed if you keep a good distance behind the trolley in front which enables you to appreciate the relaxing experience. We weren't hassled by the car behind as some were .
