La Plagette — Attraction in Montpellier

This is one of the nicest family friendly beaches I've ever found. The safe swimming area is sectioned off and protected by life guards for most of the day. The water is slightly tidal so it's not always crystal clear but it's warm and shallow and remains shallow for a safe distance.
