Olry Park, Nancy — Attraction in Nancy

Named after Monsieur Achille Orly who donated this private garden to the city of Nancy in 1913. A tranquil and peaceful urban green space in Nancy at the Saint Pierre district not far from the Regional Hospital, Saint Peter's Church and university of Lorraine. It's quite small but really beautiful even in winter when I visited. There's mature trees, manicured flower beds, greenhouse, kids outdoor playgrounds and a public lavatory that is wheelchair accessible. Great place for everyone even dogs are allowed inside the park. There are benches and tables to sit and relax and have a moment of peace. There's a bus stop right at the entrance gate. Perfect spot for all...

Magnifique parc où je viens chaque jour promener mon chien depuis que j'ai emménagé à côté ! Ce fut une belle découverte... Parc très ombragé, reposant, propre.... Parfois, avec un peu de chance, on peut apercevoir les écureuils !☺️... j'adooooore !❤️ Parc qui gagne à être connu ! Dommage que certains individus laissent leurs déchets au sol... c'est rageant, sachant qu'il y a des poubelles partout ! Dommage que les cyclistes y circulent sans descendre de vélo..hier un cycliste nous a frôlé et a fait réagir mon chien !..je me suis fait disputer par le cycliste alors qu'il était en tord !. Dommage aussi qu'il y ait très peu de surveillance.... parfois de drôles d'individus y circulent...ce n'est pas très sécurisant ! Je n'ai jamais vu un gardien assurer la...

Stunning park and very dog friendly. We've walked daily with our dog during our stay in Nancy and it was a pleasure every single time. There are beautiful plants to behold but also a fun playground for children. Definitely worth the visit...
