Parking is allowed on the side of the road (as long as it does not create an obstacle for other cars), and if no places are available, 3 parking fields can be found on the way from the main street, for 3€. Toilet available at Hotel Le Rotabas for 2€/person. Some food and drinks available from foodtrucks and other vendors on the beach, 1 local beer 33cl -4 €. Alot of them take card payments, in case you have no cash. Sunbeds available on the private side of the beach, not sure if they are for hotel residents only(?). Also, the private side of the beach has rocks in the sand, so have swimming shoes with you- if you are sensitive. Iguanas can be seen everyday if you look for them (usually in a tree above your head), and most of the palm trees have the coconuts cut off, so no risk of injury from falling coconuts. Fresh coconuts (with a show) available for 5€, plus another 3€ if you want to film the 'show' by local Jack Sparrow. There is also shelter under the trees in case of heavy rain, as some turists do not like to get wet.. no pun intended. The amount of people on the beach vary from day to day, time, and weather, but there is always place for everybody, again, if you are not too picky. All in all, whatever stress you might experience on your way to this beach, I promise it will be cured once you arrive! It is worth it! Ps: there might be more options in form of food & toilets than what I wrote, but it was based on what I experienced so...
Read morePros: The beach is amazing, the water is very very clean and nice to swim in. There are pelicans eating right in front of you, diving down to the water when they see a fish.
Cons: The beach can be quite full of people. Never order a piña colada or mojito if you are not the club med. It’s a tiny glass worth around 8 euros and not tasty at all 🥲
Tips: Go to the latest parking righ before reaching the beach. It costs 3 euros all day + you will have a shade...
Read moreThe acces to this beach is on the Rte de L'Hotel Routabas. There is a paid parking, but we parked on the road and it was ok. You have to take a 10 minutes walk. Just follow the path till you'll find the perfect place for you. We stopped where the guys cut coconuts. Here there are a lot of beautiful fishes, so it's a great place for snorkeling. Just put the mask and enjoy the lovely...
