Champagne Tours - La Vigne du Roy — Attraction in Reims

Absolutely loved our champagne tour with Katia! She was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the champagne making process as she actually worked with a vineyard prior to starting the tour business. She was extremely engaging with everyone in our group of 4, asking lots of questions to determine what our level of knowledge of champagne was in order to tailor the tour to us. Her tour took us from walking in a vineyard and explaining all aspects of growing the grapes to the wineries where we saw every aspect of the champagne making process. The 3 wineries we toured were fantastic - introducing us to great smaller production champagnes that we would never have known about. Two of our group were extremely knowledgeable about champagne and they came away very impressed with her knowledge and ability to answer absolutely any question. Katia is very personable and by the end of the tour, we all felt like she was a friend showing us around, not a typical tour guide. We went on a half-day tour with Katia and it was an amazing experience! She took us straight from the train station which was a little bit out of Reims and let out in the centre of Reims (even made a reservation for us at a local restaurant when she found out that we wanted to go there). The tour itself was very thorough, so after half day we felt that we knew everything about champagne. The degustation was also very well balanced and we enjoyed it very much!!
