Overall, it was a good experience for art/history lovers — my first time visiting a castle! It was a nice step in to history. You can either request a guided tour or explore on your own using a map or audio guide. There are about 44 sites to see, and it took me around two hours to cover everything.

If you plan to see the whole place, definitely wear comfortable sneakers. One suggestion: the map could be grouped by sections (for example, 1–15 for this area, 16–30 for another) so visitors can easily decide which parts to focus on.

I really enjoyed the first 15–20 stops, but after that, I was mostly just trying to...

What a treat. Didn’t expect to fine such an interesting gallery in this quiet and pretty town. For a start the building, just in itself, is worth a visit. Make sure you explore up to the attic, fabulous room with a forest of rafters and wonderful brickwork chimneys. And look out for the 15 th century frescoes of hunting scenes. Astounding. I found some of the exhibits ‘challenging’ but there are a couple of Richard Longs which I was pleased to see. Oh, and all the descriptions, and leaflets, are in both French and English. Sorry that a previous reviewer didn’t...

Contemporary and modern art gallery with a large collection of Raoul Housmann photographic and other works on paper, drawings, paintings, sketchbooks etc. With some original 15th and 16th century murals juxtaposed with installations by British artist Richard Long. The gallery is set in an ancient historic castle and the contemporary works fit well within the well-considered space. Changing programme of temporary exhibitions alongside the permanent works. An oasis of art that is of surprising high quality and ambition. Well worth a visit if you're...

This place is amazing. Organization of the exhibition space at a high level. Lighting, ease of movement inside the castle, qualified staff, cleanliness of the surrounding area, parking! Stunning views of the surrounding landscape. In a word, we are delighted! We were lucky with the weather and the exposition. There were some very beautiful exhibitions of contemporary artists and sculptors. The city itself, where the museum is located, we also liked it very much. Very cozy. It's just a pity that nothing works on Sundays)))) Otherwise - a complete delight!

The facade and views are stupendous. The drawbridge is well done and charming. However, once entering the grounds and the representation of the château was a complete disappointment. Inside the château are really fantastic 17th century paintings but it was very confusing the additional art exhibitions. Missed opportunity! Then outside the courtyard, there were several stories of events that took place at that the château could have exploited and explored in the château’s story. In all, great castle without the underpinnings of its great history.
