Overall, it was a good experience for art/history lovers — my first time visiting a castle! It was a nice step in to history.You can either request a guided tour or explore on your own using a map or audio guide. There are about 44 sites to see, and it took me around two hours to cover everything.
If you plan to see the whole place, definitely wear comfortable sneakers. One suggestion: the map could be grouped by sections (for example, 1–15 for this area, 16–30 for another) so visitors can easily decide which parts to focus on.

Read moreWhat a treat. Didn’t expect to fine such an interesting gallery in this quiet and pretty town. For a start the building, just in itself, is worth a visit. Make sure you explore up to the attic, fabulous room with a forest of rafters and wonderful brickwork chimneys. And look out for the 15 th century frescoes of hunting scenes. Astounding.
