This is a nice quiet beach, though there are small groups that come and go. Water is nice and calm with small little waves rocking and relaxing you. However, come prepared as there are no amenities (food, chairs/umbrella rental); you may find shade under some of the groves and at the right end of the stairs leading to the beach. We found this to be a nice quiet beach. Come prepared with insect repellent if you stay past 5 pm as I read in other reviews you get attacked by ‘sand fleas’ or as they call in Puerto Rico ‘no seems’ - if you’ve been to PR and got ‘swarmed’ you know what I mean! The entrance to the parking is tucked in, there is a sign that says private property but that’s in reference to the homes in that area, go past it and you will see the parking space available. Never got too crowded you could not find a parking spot.

Very quiet beach. It was very close to where we stayed which is why we visited multiple times. I read of the reviews that said there are no umbrellas or chairs, this is absolutely not necessary at this beach. Sure it would be nice, but if you bring a towel he will be just fine. Frankly, I don’t see any reason why you would not want to enjoy the water here. At any of these Caribbean beaches you can be in the water for as long as you like without risk of hypothermia. In the north east of the United States you cannot say this and so for that reason I would go and spend all of your time in the water. We snorkeled here too and that was as advertised. Very enjoyable but be prepared to do a bit of swimming and mind the current.

Stunning beach which we visited twice during our stay in St Martin. Parking lot is on the smaller side, so it would be advisable to go early to secure a spot. No washrooms, chair rentals or restaurants at this beach, so plan accordingly. There is natural shade toward the back of the beach. If you swim/snorkel around the rocks at the right side of the beach, you will find another beach which you will likely have all to yourself. Once there, you will see a hole in the rock formation which you can swim through and find yet another beach on the other side. The water was quite rough when we were there, so the snorkelling experience was less than ideal.
