The restaurant did not live up to my expectations in terms of food or service. For a place that is meant to showcase mushrooms there was only one mushroom choice for starter (mushroom gazpacho) and main (stuffed mushroom). It was nice but I honestly could have made just as good at home. My partner was equally disappointed with his. Service was slow: we had reserved a table - waited for 10 minutes and then seated ourselves to the annoyance of the staff who had ignored us for that time while setting the tables - it is quite a climb up so we just wanted a seat out of the sun! Entered the museum thinking it was about living in the cave houses, but was delightfully surprised to find it was about mushroom cultivation. A very interesting showcasing of the progress made in mushroom cultivation, and you can even see actual mushrooms being grown !! My main issue was that they only had explanations in french, for english/german explanation brochure you had to scan a QR code at the entrance, and it was hard to match where you were in the tour to the text. Overall, a great place to visit if you have any interest at all in...
