What a beautiful hidden gem! Fantastic greenhouses to wander round, with massive orchids, cacti and rare plant species, all beautifully laid out and identified with cards. Then after you've walked through the greenhouses, go out into the park. With riverside walks, flower specific planting areas, a lawn and play area for kids, and small animal pens, this is a delight for people of all ages. It was also totally free to go in!! My recommendation is to take a picnic, and make a day of it. Not too big but with enough space to walk, have a picnic (plenty of picnic tables and grass area to seat) play and see some farm animals. The tropical garden was closed due to covid 19 but even with that you can see nice plants and flowers.
They have clean restrooms which is rare in parks, lots of benches, a carousel (closed due to covid) and kid play areas.
