This beach is about 1 hour from Marseille by car. To get there you have to leave the freeway and drive through many narrow streets, as typical of many European villages. But I found the trip was well worth it. Clean sand, although a bit narrow in places. The water was clear and relatively warm. I was lucky to find a parking in the lot behind the tourism office, but I can see that in some days you may need to go around a bit to find a place. Keep in mind that parking there is for 3 hours, and you need to record your arrival time using one of those blue discs that you place in the dashboard. I did not have one but wrote a note stating my arrival time and left there; I was not fined. If you park behind the tourism office, to get to the beach you walk past a place called Funnyland and some shops. If you go a bit to the right as you hit the beach there are some restaurants and bars, and in front of them there is a place that hires sun beds and beach umbrellas for a very reasonable price. There is also a public shower a bit further down. Overall a very nice place to spend a...

A pleasant but fairly typical southern France beach. It's maybe worth a detour if you are in the area, or simply want to escape from town or city to the coast. There are several small cafes and restaurants vying for business along the promenade, though if you only want drinks and no food at lunchtime, finding a seat is harder. When we went it was very crowded and two bars turned us away when we declined menus. We got a seat eventually, but it wasn't so well shaded as the dining tables. However we did get an automatic free litre carafe of chilled water from a restaurant near the end of the promenade close to the Vague d'Or restaurant on the same side - very...

How beautiful the beach is depends on the time you visit (at least in August) In the early morning it is really empty. There are hardly any tourists and mostly locals. The water is super clear, the beach is extremely clean and the atmosphere is super nice. Around noon the beach fills up quickly and gets quiet crowded. It is possible to find a spot, but obviously the atmosphere is different. Noisy, a bit dirtier and the water not so clear anymore.

Nevertheless I would say it is one of the most beautiful beaches...

Beautiful fine sand beach with amazing water. You can walk quite far in the water as it is rather shallow, so perfect for kids. It can get very busy, which is why walking towards the middle or western part of the beach might be best. Overall very clean. Perfect swimming and relaxation spot
