While there is nothing wrong with the wine tour itself, I was underwhelmed by the value proposition of their wine tour offering. The winery does boast an impressive wine cave, and our guide was professional and hospitable. However, the 20 euro per person fee for the tour is too high, especially considering that most other wineries in the region, including some premium brands, offer free wine tastings. I understand the tour fee is intended to cover the cost of accessing the caves, but I still found it difficult to justify the expense. 20 euros... hmm... The wines themselves were not to my personal taste while this is simply a matter of individual preference. Overall, although the caves and the collection room were truly impressive, I left this winery visit with a sense that the commercial drive had overshadowed the more intimate, craft-focused experience I was hoping for.

Very friendly staff. 2KM of tunnels housing over 1mm bottles of wine. Pretty cool! Pro tip: On a hot day enter the caves to cool off.

Vouvray has always been a favorite but this cellar is a cut above. Fabulous wines and I loved the tiur and tasting. Fascinating!

Arrange a visit with Marc Bredif - a must-do for any wine lover.

We have had a chance to try some of their wines in New Zealand and Australia, but it was thrilling to be able to visit the winery and taste a wider range.

Our host Valentin was lovely and great fun to speak with. We were shown through the extensive caves, and saw their collection dating back to 1874. The history of these houses is truly incredible.

We were then presented with a tasting across their range - two sparkling/cremant wines, two drier-style Chenin blancs, two Cabernet francs and then two sweet wines (including their 'Nectar'). All were wonderful examples, unique in their own styles.

Our only regret is that we could not buy more wine to take back home with us! The prices for the quality of wines is incredible.

The tasting itself cost 15€ pp - absolutely worth it for any wine...

This place is a hidden gem in Tours and the staff are very friendly. We recommend that you make an appointment but we just showed up and got a quick tour of the cave for free and a wine sampling (bought three bottles based on it). The cave is really interesting, the gentleman that gave us the tour explained how the wine is made, stored and the difference between each wine. It was really interesting and informative. If you have an interest in good wine or just enjoy drinking, it I'd recommend going...
