Arrange a visit with Marc Bredif - a must-do for any wine lover.
We have had a chance to try some of their wines in New Zealand and Australia, but it was thrilling to be able to visit the winery and taste a wider range.
Our host Valentin was lovely and great fun to speak with. We were shown through the extensive caves, and saw their collection dating back to 1874. The history of these houses is truly incredible.
We were then presented with a tasting across their range - two sparkling/cremant wines, two drier-style Chenin blancs, two Cabernet francs and then two sweet wines (including their 'Nectar'). All were wonderful examples, unique in their own styles.

The cave is really interesting, the gentleman that gave us the tour explained how the wine is made, stored and the difference between each wine. It was really interesting and informative. If you have an interest in good wine or just enjoy drinking, it I'd recommend going...
