This restaurant is about delicious food and really personal service. We were greeted by a charming (in the nicest possible way) man who turned out to be the proprietor. He was everything to do with the front of house. He moved from the bright lights of Paris with his family three years ago and leads a more fulfilling family life in this delightful place between Rochecorbon and Vouvray. However, the food is equally important and possibly the most important element of review and being on a gastronomic odyssey this week, it compares well on all counts and the Veal kidney and sweat bread dish exceeds all....

Firstly, it is very important that you make a reservation otherwise you may be turned away at the door. We were turned away having walked in earlier in our holiday but decided to book for our final night in the Loire.
