Only 40 minutes from our home. We are so lucky. The cascades are very worth a visit. You pay €6 at the top of the walk, in high season, or walk to the house at the bottom and pay there out of season. In season you can have refreshments there. Being 'tight' Yorkshire folk, we took a walk on the opposite side by the river, equally pretty but easier for the less active. Read moreThis is a beautiful natural place. Well worth a visit. The village is quiant, there are a few shops and cafes. There's free parking and toilets. The waterfalls are beautiful and accessed down narrow tracks and can be viewed from many different positions, the walk along the stream can be as long as you like.
