Zamek jest w dobrym położeniu, gdyż znajduje się w centrum miasta, nie trzeba jeździć i szukać go gdzieś na obrzeżach miastach, bądź wioskach, jak było w przypadku Bonaguil. Wadą tego zamku, że nie można go zwiedzać, można pozwiedzać tylko taras, z którego jest piękna panorama na miasto i okolicę.

Un coin d'Italie en Lot-et-Garonne. La vue splendide et décontracté en ce bord d'été étouffant, ses arcades bienvenues, ses bancs de pierre froids et ses palmiers câlins d'ombres, on vous l'a dit l'Italie foulant au pied de la Thèze. Et le château en prime, qui vient joliment habillé tout ça.

Nice tranquile and beautifull Château. Visit if your in the neighborhood. Good scenery with view down the Lot river and nice garden for some good pictures. Acces is free, spending 20mins is enough, sonwoildn’t spend more than 15m...

Une très belle bâtisse avec beaucoup de charme il est très agréable de visiter. Le château de Fumel abrite la mairie de Fumel, avec des salles, pour le conseil, mariages, France service, bibliothèque, salles d'exposition temporaire dans les galeries du château.
