The Weingut Kloster Marienthal, nestled in the Weinberge of Dernau, is set in an idyllic monastery with both charming and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The views of the rolling wine hills and the beautiful architecture are simply breathtaking.
After a leisurely stroll through the hills, this spot offers a wonderful selection of wines and some truly delicious cakes—especially the apple cake. It’s the perfect way to recharge. Although we didn’t try the Flammkuchen, the constant smell each time they were served made it incredibly tempting.

The entrance is directly into a wine shop with the collaborating winegrowers from the immediate vicinity: Genossenschaften (Dernau und Mayschoß) sowie den both Weingütern Brogsitter und Meyer-Näkel who also make the wines.
