Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk — Attraction in Anger

Now this really, seriously impressed me. The building and grounds are immaculate, and are dedicated to Herr Porsche's lifelong love affair with toys and models. The model railway is honestly breathtaking. You get to walk around inside the model room, including pathways through the model, and the model is at waist height and upwards. Coordinated projectors give sky, with clouds, sun and rain, and a cycle of day and night. There's sound, including thunder effects. The railway, the cars on the street, even a house and its garage door are all animated and lit realistically. After a good hour of just watching stuff happen around us, we went to the toy museum section and were blown away by the quantity, quality and range of toys on show. We are not talking teddy bears, these are models of boats, cars, fairground carousels, the list goes on. There's a small collection of real Porsches, as you would expect, and after wishing we owned one, we went to get some food in the restaurant. I should have guessed, the food was superb, and at a very decent price. Parking was free, and admission was absurdly low for what you get to see. Herr Porsche must be paying for most of this from his own pocket, and I wish I could shake his hand and thank him. One of the most amazing places i have visited so far. The exhibition of the tin toys is definitely nice to see, the real attraction although is the hall with the model trains in my opinion. The level of detail is incredible, the audio and visual effects are hard to put in words and the amount of different trains, locations, themes and so on left me literally speechless the entire time. Another point worth noting is the feeling that is in the air. You can talk to the staff and you will hear the craziest stories about some of the cars or the Porsche family itself and you will leave the place with a huge smile and goosebumps that last for a long time. For me the experience got even crazier when i had the chance to meet (even though it was only for a brief moment) Hans Peter Porsche himself and to talk a few words with him, as he was there that exact day completely by accident. Wir haben vor kurzem als Familie einen unvergesslichen Tag im Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk verbracht und waren rundum begeistert. Schon beim Betreten des Museums spürt man, dass es sich hier um einen Ort handelt, der mit Liebe zum Detail und echter Leidenschaft gestaltet wurde.

Beeindruckende Modelleisenbahnanlage und Miniaturwelten

Der absolute Höhepunkt des Traumwerks ist zweifellos die gigantische Modelleisenbahnanlage, die auf über 400 Quadratmetern beeindruckende Landschaften und detailreiche Szenen zum Leben erweckt. Hier gibt es so viel zu entdecken, dass die Zeit förmlich verfliegt – besonders die Kinder waren fasziniert und konnten sich kaum losreißen. Es ist erstaunlich, wie liebevoll jedes kleine Detail ausgearbeitet ist, und wir haben bei jedem Blick etwas Neues entdeckt.

Eine Reise in die Vergangenheit mit einzigartigen Oldtimern und Spielzeugen

Neben der Modelleisenbahn bietet das Traumwerk auch eine faszinierende Sammlung an Oldtimern und historischem Spielzeug. Die Ausstellung der klassischen Autos war nicht nur für die Erwachsenen spannend; die Kinder waren ebenfalls begeistert von den eleganten, glänzenden Oldtimern und den Geschichten, die die Fahrzeuge erzählen. Die Spielzeugsammlung mit Raritäten aus vergangenen Zeiten hat uns in nostalgische Erinnerungen versetzt und war ein wunderschöner Einblick in eine vergangene Welt.

Perfekt für die ganze Familie

Was uns besonders gefallen hat, ist, dass das Traumwerk wirklich für jedes Familienmitglied etwas bietet. Es gibt interaktive Stationen, an denen die Kinder selbst Hand anlegen können, und die Animationen und Lichtspiele in der Modelleisenbahnanlage sorgen für spannende Abwechslung. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, und wir fühlten uns rundum willkommen.

Unser Ausflug ins Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk war ein echtes Erlebnis, das uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Ob Jung oder Alt – hier kommt wirklich jeder auf seine Kosten.
