Villa in reality is not so good looking like in Internet. I would even say it is ugly and there are no nice Libermann paintings inside. Display in too small white rooms reminds me old hospital. Libermann paintings in Old National Gallery are really great and I was disappointed that in his Villa there are no highlights only some tiny puny pictures. Garden from street side is very low maintenance, 3/4 of plants just died but from Lake side looks very nice with juicy grass white chairs and small tarasse and for that nice atmosphere with few trees and rose garden, blue clean water and sailboats I give it 4 stars because I spend there lazy 2h on bank with my mom and it was great :)

Very peaceful place by the lake, gardens are really nice. Some iconic artworks are displayed with original mails from Liebermann and a great deal of explanation. Audioguide is on the phone so bring your headset. There is a cafe to buy drinks and enjoy them on the terraza or in the garden, be careful to visit the house itself when it's not too crowded. It's worth the one hour trip from Berlin.

Went here with my bookclub to learn more about Liebermann and the women in his life. I was impressed that almost everything is in dual languages. The house is spectacular and views onto the lake and gardens are gorgeous. The cafe is also very nice! Overall would have liked more info but guess next time I should do an guided tour instead (on enquired these are only available in German).

Nice museum to re-live the impressions of Liebermann's world. Not too much to be seen inside the museum, but certainly worth a visit to experience the Wannsee atmosphere. The garden feels almost Russian with all the lovely birch trees. People sitting on the grass or on benches, looking out to sail boats. Very impressionistic :-)

I really like the pictures of Liebermann and the exhibition was very interesting. However, I would not say that the place is quiet and peaceful, as I read in other reviews. I was there on a weekday in July and the garden, the museum as well as terrace were full of people. Still the place itself is beautiful indeed.
