Waldau — Attraction in Bonn

Nice place to take your kids. There are wild boars and deers. You can visit the shop and buy food for the animals and feed them. Mostly visited by family and kids. Best way to reach from Bonn : Bus 602 Waldau (A1 Platform Hbf) or take your cycle or car. There is also a nice walking Stretch. Enjoy the days with your kids here. There is also a farm nearby. Also there are various Birds in the forest, if you are into bird watching. Please dont litter the place. There are trash boxes...

Excellent for families! Imagine, you can sit on a bench and sip a coffee (from the on-site shop) while your kids play in the playground. Of course this can be before or after the family takes a long nature walk filled with fun and interactive stops such as: feeding the boars, walking the barefoot path and much more. Waldau is one of the places that we gladly visit. It gives you the “escape” from the urban world, and a good exercise if you decide to climb from the bottom (we usually start at the end of Kennedy’s Allee) which gives you around 1-1.30 hours of nice walk thru the nice forest area until the top.
