Wildlife park Dünnwald — Attraction in Cologne

A wild, expansive park in the middle of Cologne — a perfect spot for families with small children to enjoy nature and observe wild animals such as deer and boars.

The animals are kept safely behind fences, and there are automatic feeding stations near each enclosure where visitors can buy special treats to feed them.

Throughout the park, you’ll also find beautiful wooden sculptures, plenty of benches, and small shelters where you can grab a bite or simply take a moment to rest.

There’s a small play area for children too, featuring large tree trunks and small wooden huts designed just for kids to climb, explore, and play in.

One downside, however, is that the toilets were closed during the weekend — they are only available on weekdays, which I found quite disappointing. Given that the park is especially popular with families and young children, restroom facilities should ideally be accessible...

Must visit. So clean, green and calm place. You can walk around and see lots of greenary. There is a small river stream flowing around which makes it more beautiful. Der Wildpark in köln dünnwald ist perfekt für alle Altersgruppen. Es gibt reichlich bänke auf welchen man sich die Tiere, die Natur oder auch das plätschern des mutzbaches welcher durch den Park fließt genießen kann.

Auf dem Rundweg sind immer wieder schöne Holzschnitzereien platziert welche lokal mit Hilfe einer kettensäge und bei straßen festen oft vor Ort geschnitzt werden.

Desweiteren findet man mehrere schöne spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder welche von kleinen häusechen über klettermöglichkeiten bis zu sandkästen reichen. Zimmliche mittig im Park findet man zudem ein offenes Fachwerkhaus welches aus Aussichtsplattform im Park dient. Von dort aus kann man sehr gut in das wild,Rotwild und Wildschwein Gehege schauen. Das Wisent Gehege kann man von dort leider schwer sehen.

Unter der Woche ist der Park meist sehr leer so das man sehr angenehm spazieren gehen kann. Am Wochende und an Feiertagen sind jedoch meist sehr viele Menschen im Park unterwegs. Ist es durch die beliebte Stimmung auch dann ein schönes Erlebnis.
