Beeindruckend! Ich habe mehrere Jahre in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft gewohnt und kenne diesen Turm von Kindheit an. Lange war es ein geschlossenes Bauwerk, welches fast traurig-schaurig an der Räcknitzhöhe stand. Ein Verein, welcher sich dieser Säule annahm hat ihr neues Leben eingehaucht. Zu den Öffnungszeit kann man das Innere besichtigen und erfährt vieles über die Historie. Bezwingt man sämtliche Stufen des Turmes, so hat man als Lohn eine wirklich tolle Sicht auf Dresden und Umgebung. Zur Orientierung sind Metalplatten angebracht, auf welchen man schauen kann, was man in der Ferne sieht. Und das ganze kostet nichts! Natürlich darf jeder etwas in die Spendenbox geben um das freiwillige und ehrenamtliche Engagement...
