Eine Kirschbaumallee führt vorbei an Kleingärten, quer durch die großen Spiel- und Liegewiesen zum Aussichtspunkt am Kastanienrondell. Von dort, 180 Meter über Meereshöhe, öffnet sich ein herrlicher Blick auf die Mainmetropole, die Mainebene und den Taunus. Parallel zum Hang verläuft der Weg zum großangelegten Spielplatz. Dort vergnügen sich die Kleinsten im Sand, an Spielgeräten und auf dem Rasen oder plantschen im Wasserspielbecken. An dem sonnenverwöhnten Südhang liegt Frankfurts einziger, städtischer Weinberg. Er umfasst 1,3 ha und gehört zum Anbaugebiet des Rheingaus. Seine Weine sind im städtischen Weingut in der Limpurgergasse 2, nahe dem Römer, erhältlich. Ein Spaziergang durch den Weinberg führt zum Ehrenmal für die Gefallenen Seckbachs aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg; eine Gedenktafel erinnert an die Toten des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Daran hat sich bis heute kaum etwas geändert. Seit 1986 steht der Park unter Denkmalschutz. In Notzeiten entstand hier nach 1945 ein Beratungsgarten, der den Frankfurter bürgern helfen sollte Obst und Gemüse selbst erfolgreich anzubauen. Heute führt das "MainÄppel-Haus Lohrberg" diese Tradition fort mit Erlebnisgarten, Beratung und Kursangebot für Pflanzenfreunde und Hobbygärtner.
