A very relaxing place to hike to on a summer weekend. Takes around 40 to 50 minutes from the free parking at the foothill. Only the last part of the ascent is a bit steep. Spectacular place to go on a hike with buddies and have a great view of the Hohernzollern Castle.

The best view of the castle. We drove to the parking spot, then hiked the rest of the way. I wouldn’t recommend doing it if the weather’s been wet, as the trail would be muddy/slippery. A wearable carrier is a must if you want to complete the hike with your baby.

Was soll ich sagen, eine der schönsten Erfahrungen meines Lebens. Dieser Ausblick auf die Burg Hohenzollern und die Umgebung war traumhaft. Ich saß einfach nur da und saugte die Ruhe der Natur in mich auf. Tolles Fotomotiv und für mich sehr beeindruckend. Der Weg dort hinauf, war jedoch ziemlich beschwerlich. Ich lief einen kürzeren Wanderweg hinauf, dieser war steil, sehr uneben, eng und dadurch Kräfte raubend. Definitiv nur was für festes Schuhwerk und fitte Menschen. Es gibt auch festere Wege(Straße) hinauf, doch die waren mir an dem Tag zu lang. Für mich hat sich jedenfalls der beschwerliche Weg gelohnt.

Wow place. We spent the sunset there and it was an amazing view. From this place you can see the surrounding which is a castle and forest. It is worth walking until that point because the view is beautiful. I will recommend people to go there one evening to...
