Mitterdorf Skizentrum — Attraction in Hinterschmiding (VGem)

Skicentrum is nice, however, there is a but... We payed full price (38 Euro per capita) for the skipass one day in advance. When we arrived to the skicentrum we were told that the main lift is out of order. Webpages showed that all lifts are running throughout the whole day, no info about this fact. Of course you can cancel the reservation but it will cost you five euros per skipass. So as a family, you can wast your time a pay 20 for nothing. They call it dynamic prices. What a joke. Lady at the cash desk didn't have any relevant information e.g. when will be the main lift working again. Well, she didn't want to help anybody in the first place. Btw. from this season you not only pay nearly 40 Euros per day but they as another 5 for parking. I could recommend the skicentrum in case you miss the feeling of being robbed. In case it is not what you are looking for, call them in advance to be sure they are not charging something you will not get or find the different place with...

Their only one ski seat lift is pretty dangerous!! The passenger mover is crazy fast and the stuff is not active enough and not taking care about the hop in the seat properly. Last year the seat was not situated in right position unfortunately, so my girlfriend broke her leg on it!!

The ski areal refuse their fault even though the accident was seen by many witnesses!!!

Nice place. I’ve been there March 2022. Piste were still ready to skiing - hard and fast. If you are in neighbourhood go and skiing. Unfortunately ski rent placed on zur alpe str. - branded by intersport, was disaster. Verrrry old skis, not prepared for skiing.
