Vor allem wenn man den Spaziergang, die Wanderung früh beginnt ist die Rheininsel Ketsch ein lohnendes Ziel. Wir sind die große Runde, ca. 8.5 km gelaufen. Mit Picknick und Pausen ca 4h. Bis zum Ende gegen 15 Uhr sind uns nur selten andere Menschen begegnet, dann wurde es etwas mehr. Highlights: Ruhe, Natur, Seele baumeln lassen, Energie tanken.... Die Abstecher zum Altrhein, den Schiffen auf dem Rhein zu schauen. Es sind gut zu laufende Wege, auch für Kinderwagen geeignet. Es ist keine grosse Tour aber etwas Kondition sollte da sein. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Abstecher zum Altrhein. Kleine Strände, ganz allein und tolle Impressionen. Tolle Picknick Plätze. In der Mitte gibt es auch einen Naturlehrpfad mit viel Interessantem auch für Kinder und am Anfang oder Ende ein Wildgehege mit Schwarzwild . Ein eigentlich sehr schönes Stück Natur, dessen Genuss aber durch die Menge an Moskitos völlig zerstört wird. Der Waldweg ist schön und der Weg am Fluss sowieso. Im August, wenn die Tümpel recht nass sind und die Sonne dazu scheint, ist es dort aber unerträglich. Die Mücken waren sogar für die Hunde viel zu viel, sodass diese sich im Gras verstecken wollten. Am Wasser ist es okay, aber im Wald grausam sodass wir froh waren als wir wieder raus waren. Ein paar andere Wanderer sind nachdem sie an der ersten Kreuzung ankamen direkt wieder umgekehrt. Am Fluss muss man definitiv auf die teils sehr großen Schiffe und deren Wellen aufpassen. Die Strömung...
