Weingut Robert Weil — Attraction in Kiedrich

Went here on one of our last days in Germany. We showed up and were told the gentleman only had 30 minutes as he was leaving but would do a tasting with us.

He ended up not only spending over an hour with us, but allowed us to try more wines than we had originally thought we could. He taught us about the process and why the wines taste the way they do. To say this is the best wine tasting experience of my life would be an understatement, and the wine is also the best I’ve ever had.

Be aware that the wine definitely is not cheap, but after tasting the quality and seeing the love and effort this winery puts into their product, it is abundantly clear as to why the price tag is what it is. If you are looking to do a high quality wine tasting, look no...

Sadly it's only to do wine tastings or to purchase wines. There's no gastronomy here. So we came out on our bycicles for pretty much nothing. Also no one would really acknowledge us, because we're were dressed in bycicle clothes. Kinda disappointed. However it's a nice property. Haven't tried the wine.

Also a side note... The Polish workers were more helpful and polite then the sales people...

Bad experience. The gardens were beautiful as was the interior, however the older man who worked there was incredibly rude and made us feel very unwelcome, as if we were a burden for wanting to try his wine. We decided not to give this place our money, and went to another place up the road. Would not recommend, maybe buy the wine online but don’t bother visiting...
