BASF Visitor Center — Attraction in Ludwigshafen am Rhein

The permanent exhibition centre of BASF. It is definitely worth a visit if someone is interested in the chemistry of daily life! The whole experience was pretty overwhelming... I visited BASF from my conmpany's side as we are one of their clients... The 1 hour tour through the visitor centre was really good and I was able to relate the everyday household and industrial products that are either directly made by BASF or is made possible by stuff made by BASF.... This is an impressive, futuristic, state of the art centre! We visited this centre and toured the mini-city of a site as part of a large group. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided a wonderful history and overview of the site and many of its well known products. The company's products are used across many industries, its mini-city / plant is designed to be like a self-sustaining, circular economy of a city/site.
