Visiting Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich was a truly unforgettable experience for my family and me, going far beyond typical zoo visits. This "geo-zoo," as they call themselves, offers a unique approach to showcasing animals, as they are arranged by continent. This allows for a journey through the animal kingdom of the entire world in a single afternoon. It's not just a viewing; it's a true expedition!

I was impressed by the vastness and impeccable organization of the zoo. The animals have plenty of space, creating a feeling that they are in their natural habitat, rather than in cages. Our visit to the zoo yesterday was a mix of wonderful and terrible. The zoo itself is lovely and perfect for kids, but our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by an incredibly rude encounter with an employee at the Flamingo Entrance number 1. We arrived with our 4-year-old son and his small, foldable scooter( “ scoot and ride”), which fits easily into a bag. We've brought it before without any problems. When I attempted to enter after folding the scooter and placing it in my shoulder bag, the employee not only told me I couldn't bring it in but then left her station to confront me again as I was trying to disassemble it further. Her aggressive tone and insistence that I leave the unlocked scooter outside was shocking and unnecessary. The whole situation left my son crying and completely soured the beginning of our day. While I understand the rule about scooters, it's hard to understand why an employee would be so aggressive about an item that was fully contained in a bag!!!.
