We went there for the ice hockey and found the arena a bit dated and in need of renovation. It is still adequate but the steps are very steep, a bit of a worry with younger children. We still enjoyed the visit, however. The biggest draw back is the lack of public transport however, there was only a train every 40 minutes to Hauptbahnhof on the S2, despite there being a sell out crowd of 7700 at the arena. Not all of us made it on the train and waiting another 40 minutes on a freezing cold platform wasn't a very good option. No bus or tram nearby either. Wir waren bei der Night of Freestyle. Was ich bemängeln muss, die Sitzplätze sind eine Zumutung, das sollte unbedingt geändert und verbessert werden. Wenn ich für zwei Karten 180 Euro bezahle und dann 3 Stunden auf einem klappbaren Eisensitz verbringen muss, und rechts und links kein Millimeter (bei normaler Figur) zum Nebenmann ist, finde ich dies unzumutbar und preislich eine Unverschämtheit. Sollte jemand Platzangst haben, ist die Arena Nürnberg auf keinen Fall, egal zu welcher Veranstaltung empfehlenswert. Zu der Veranstaltung Night of Freestyle ist zu sagen, ich finde den Preis viel zu teuer für das was einem geboten wird. Viel Palaber durch die zwei Moderatoren, etwas nervig. Die Artisten zeigen immer wieder die gleichen Stunts. Zuerst kommen die Motorräder dann die Inline Fahrer, in diesem Fall (nur Einer) Roller, BMX und Fahrradfahrer. Dies wechselt sich 2 Stunden immer wieder im gleichen Durchlauf ab. Die Show wird einfach in die Länge gezogen, um Zeit zu gewinnen. Die ganze Vorstellung dauert 2 Stunden mit 30 Minuten Pause. Die ganze Abhandlung könnte in 1 Stunde gesehen sein würde nicht alles dauerhaft wiederholt werden. Beim Beginn der ersten Show, beginnt der Anfang mit einer Feuer beziehungsweise Laser Show. Nach der halbstündigen Pause beginnt auch die zweite Phase der Show mit dem gleichen Einstieg. Etwas langweilig, man hätte sich besseres einfallen lassen können. ( einfach um alles länger auszudehnen ) Für uns ist es nicht empfehlenswert und wir empfehlen es auch nicht weiter. Preisleistung ungenügend.
