KNAUS Camping Park Nuremberg — Hotel in Nuremberg

Where do we start?||I will give anywhre a chance to see what it is like.Some places are very good for the cost where as others are a complete waste of my hard earned money.This camp site being one of the waste of money ones.||I will will only pass on how I find a place and I will allways be truthfull with my revies.||For what is available here is well over priced.Because we arrived just after 1230 we had to wait untill 1500 to be able to book in as the reception is closed till 1500.||This ment we had to book in for two nights so that we could have a look at Nuremberg.||It cost over 70 Euro for one camper van ,two adults and the electric for the 2 nights stay.||As for easy transport into the city it is about 1.5 mile walk to the trai station,good news it only costs 12.60 Euro for 2 adults return.||To the camp its self.||Not realy the best kept and facilities just ok.||Other campers using this site Well there were a band of travelers who seem to leave their caravans on this site with their families and go to work around the area.||They seem to wake up around the 2300 mark and then begin to fight among themslves.untill the Police turn up then the arguments go on till about 0200 or when ever the police arrest them.||I know this may not go on every night only it was 1 out of 2 for us. BUT the site is the same and I can not see it getting any better.||So to others who would like to give it a try dont take my word for how I found it,just go and spend for what you wont get and that is a good...

Sorry but we tried everything to be as nice and understanding with then people who work there but it turns out they are simply ripping the Brits or any English speaking folks off,

First off, no one is clear about prices, I spoke to several people and all did not agree, ofcourse when you leave they bill you and suddenly they don't speak English, well, it did not stop there, we went to exchange a 11 kl bottle of gas for 25€, we thought the refill was kind of lite, after we hooked it up it was totally empty! ,we took it back to the office and they quizzed us to see if we where lying, how can you empty a bottle of gas that fast right? Anyone? They told they believe us and would replace it, but after we hooked up the re real refill of gas it was at 6 instead of 10 or at least 9! Come on now that's cheating, half filled bottle? Sorry but that is monopolizing if you ask me, the only other campsite in Nuremberg is near playmobile, even the police advised it, so beware people, if anyone is not clear just walk out...

They charged me 26 euros more by mistake and i Saw it directly. They told me at the réception that it was impossible to refund me the money in cash or by card immediately because the main office have to do it.

They told me that in a delay of one month maximum i will have my money back on my bank account which never happened.

Unfortunately, they think that they cannot refund you the money.

I tried everything I could and I am deeply sorry I cannot give you another answer.

Unfortunately, the support lady seems not interested in pleasing the customers… ☹
