Freilichtmuseum Glentleiten — Attraction in Ohlstadt (VGem)

This is a great museum. It's amazing how they transported actual houses from all over Bavaria. There is a lot to see so take a few hours. The staff gave me a map and detailed guide book, both in English. The social history is very interesting, and every aspect of rural life is covered. Houses, mills, granary, cooking, gardens, animals.. you name it. Many of the houses have photos and stories of the original inhabitants of the houses on display, which are very poignant. After visiting this museum I will defenetive say, such place should be visited. In this museum you can feel the old atmosphere of the Bavarian village. This museum have a lot different hauses amd places, where shown how people use to leave early. This museum is also recommende to visit with children., because it have also playground and a lot of activities for children. Even dogs are allowed. After having a good time visiting this museum, we decided to celebrate our son's birthday here, as they have a package for a children's party.

The museum's exhibits, however, do not reflect in their customer service. It would take at least 2-3 days before we would receive a reply from them. (After sending them a complaint, we surprisingly, immediately, got a response.)
