This is a great museum. It's amazing how they transported actual houses from all over Bavaria. There is a lot to see so take a few hours. The staff gave me a map and detailed guide book, both in English. The social history is very interesting, and every aspect of rural life is covered. Houses, mills, granary, cooking, gardens, animals.. you name it. Many of the houses have photos and stories of the original inhabitants of the houses on display, which are very poignant.
