🏞️ Munich Surroundings Open-Air Museum
Discovered an open-air architectural museum in a small town around Munich that's perfect for a full day of exploration! The museum features nearly 70 well-preserved and reconstructed characteristic houses from all over Upper Bavaria from 200 years ago. As you walk through the dense woods, you can experience and learn about the daily lives of rural residents from that era. Not only do you get to understand the local customs and traditions, but you can also appreciate the regional architectural differences. The picturesque countryside scenery, complete with streams, domesticated zoo, and a variety of farmers' tools along with their production processes, are all on display here. It's very suitable for children, and there are exclusive check-in mini-games designed for kids. Today, I noticed only German families with children were playing there, making it a place well worth exploring!! Today, I also stumbled upon a Maibaum ceremony with town residents dressed in traditional costumes—another little stroke of luck! Admission: Adults 9€ 💶 Students 5€ 💶 🚗 There's a large parking lot outside the museum for convenient parking. #Germany #Bavaria #MunichDayTrip #ScenicNature #SpringVibes #MyOffTheBeatenPathTravelTips #LivePic
