Pałac marszałków Rzeszy Pappenheimów zbudowany w 1593 roku przez mistrza Franciszka Józefa Rotha. Cały kompleks pałacowy był wielokroć przebudowywany, a w XX wieku tak zapomniany, że zawaliła się pałacowa oranżeria. Dziś zamknięty, otoczony rozpasaną roślinnością, trudny do obejrzenia i sfotografowania. Tylko marszałek Rzeszy, Gotfryd Henryk hrabia Pappenheim stoi smętny na swoim postumencie i złym okiem łypie na zawarte wrota...

Das alte Schloß in Pappenheim. Man kommt daran vorbei, wenn man der Hauptstrasse durch Pappenheim folgt. Es befindet sich rechterhand. Es ist ein Hingucker, es wurde renoviert. Das Alte Schloss dient heute der Grafenfamilie von und zu Egloffstein als Wohnsitz und ist der Öffentlichkeit...
