Rangsdorfer See — Attraction in Rangsdorf

Fantastic for small children! The lake itself is very shallow many many meters (so lots of people can spread out). That means it's also warm. There is a beach area and places in the sun or shade to sit. There is a food truck and a little shop for ice-cream etc. Easy parking if you get there early (before 10is) otherwise there is parking a short walk from the lake. I did notice in late July the water started to smell and had a cloudy color, however. Overall this is a great option...

Loved the countryside feel to the lake, a tiny shack nearby that serves black coffee & a retro music collection played around the shack complemented my experience. Good to spend a peaceful time during the winter. I suppose the summer...

Für mich absolut nicht zu empfehlen ..wollte mit meinem Hund zusammen schwimmen und dachte es gäbe unabhängig vom Strandbad andere Badestellen. Es gibt Stellen zum Wasser außerhalb des Strandbads, diese sind leider völlig verdreckt. Auch das Wasser vom See scheint nicht besonders sauber zu sein. Weder wir selbst waren baden noch haben wir den Hund da rein gelassen. Wer diesen See besucht sollte sich ausreichend mit Autan eindecken und den Hund ggf auch auch. Kenne ja einige Seen im Wald aber so eine Mückenplage wie dort habe ich selten erlebt.... Vom Baden rate ich jedem außerhalb des Strandbades ab, im Herbst oder Winter kann man dort sicher gut...
