Jasmund National Park is on the German island of Rügen, in the Baltic Sea. It's known for its centuries-old beech forests, and wildlife such as white-tailed eagles. It sits on the Jasmund peninsula, characterized by dramatic white chalk cliffs like the Königsstuhl, or King's Chair. Atop the cliffs, the Königsstuhl National Park Center has exhibits on Rügen’s nature, and an observation deck offers sea views.
