The place is nice, but the Rodelbahn was a disappointment. It was my first timer riding a Rodelbahn. It was a dangerous one and when it started drizzling midway, I slowed down because the signs everywhere warned to stop in case of rain. We've ridden rodelbahns all across Germany and Austria. This one is flat out dangerous, and I have no idea why it is allowed to be open. My husband and 4 year old daughter received several burns and abrasions riding very conservatively down the slope after their carriage tipped over. We hiked up to Rohnberg first and ate packed lunches at the top. A nice hike that started out near a clear mountain stream. On the way down we stopped here to drink and rest while enjoying the wonderful view of the lake. We wanted to catch a particular train back home, so to save time we decided to do the toboggan ride.
