Der Kaisersaal auf Schloß Schwarzburg ist stets einen Besuch wert. Zählt zu den markantesten Schlossbauten in Thüringen. Die Laterne mit den 48 Lebensgross abgebildeten römisch - deutschen Kaisern und etwa 100 kleineren Medaillons,stellt das Zentrum schwarzburgischem Ahnenkults dar. Immerhin ist Günther XXI, der im Frankfurter Dom begraben liegt, 1349 deutscher König gewesen. Ein Besuch hier lohnt sich zu jeder Jahreszeit. Ein sympathisches Museum.

Ein herrliches Schloss, wobei aber auch noch sehr viel saniert werden muss. Aber der Kaisersaal, selbst vom Schlosspark aus, ist immer wieder ein imposantes Bauwerk!!! Ich bin immer wieder sehr gerne dort, wenn ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin.

Sehr schönes Kaisersaalgebäude mit Turmaufbau, auch "Lusthaus" genannt. Im Obergeschoß befindet sich der "Kaisersaal" mit ganzfigurigen Kaiserbildern, der auch als Speisesaal und für festliche Anlässe genutzt wurde. Um den Saal zu besichtigen, sollte man direkt am Eingang zur Burg Schwarzburg das Ticket kaufen. Will man auf die Führung durch das Zeugnis verzichten, kann man auch im Lusthaus ein...
