A Unique & Oldest "Porcelain Palace" in Germany!! Built over 300 years ago, this "Porcelain Palace", located near Rastatt and the Black Forest, is not the only such Palace still in its "original form"-- but is also Germany's oldest... It is a "small Palace" with incredible furnishings, including a substantial collection of Chinese Porcelain- as well as German/Schwartz Porcelain and "Black Lacquer work". The guided tour is in German-- but their are descriptions available in other languages. The Palace also has a wonderful park surrounding it. It has also been awarded TripAdvisor's "Certificate of Excellence". It can also be visited as part of a "package" including "Residenzschloss Rastatt". It is definitely worthy of a visit.

I hope that this Review has...

Must go definitely. The landscape in autumn is beautiful. The garden surrounding the schloss exhibits the most beautiful trees which have type signs on them for recognition. Visit also the schloss inside. The rooms are remarkably restored. There is a guided tour in the interior of the rooms. However I would say not friendly to non German speaking visitors. We were given one leaflet of information but surely not as informative as the lady who was the guide. We had to ask at least to name the rooms we are visiting so we could identify in the leaflet. I would propose the investment in an audio guide for the future, as a generous and friendly gesture to...

Schloss Favorite is a schloss on the outskirts of Rastatt-Förch in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Built by Johann Michael Ludwig Rohrer between 1710 and 1730, it was created as a hunting lodge and maison de plaisance (pleasure palace) for Margravine Sibylla Augusta, the widow of Louis William, Margrave of Baden-Baden (Türkenlouis). It was only used for several weeks per year as a summer residence, and it is not far from Schloss Rastatt. Schloss Favorite houses a large collection of Chinese porcelain, black lacquerwork and Schwartz Porcelain. It is the oldest of the German so-called "porcelain palaces", and the only one to survive intact to this day.

This place is worth to visit, architecture and culture are touchable here. A historical example for mixture of styles and good taste. I am visiting this place since 30 years and have never realised that dogs are using this place for their neccessities; I mean those which are dirty and stinky.....please someone from the mayor's office give this jewel its brilliance back. The locaded cafe including cakes and ice cream are superb. I nearly never advise o r advertise. The ☕️ with it's staff? 100 💯 points.
