The baroque halls, decorations and paintings in the castle are also a feast to the eyes of those who are fond of classic art. Especially the large tapestries are truly fine and luxury.

The exhibition of archeological stuff in the city museum is also a decent one - I didn't expect to see quite so many kinds of ancient stuff originating from this area. By the way the mineral stuff are also very well sorted and inspiring to see.

Personally I find this museum a cool surprise - it's not that big, but it has rich content and offers you truly...

Nice place. The highlight is the automatic music museum where there are many mechanically operated music instruments. The instruments are well maintained and the staff is very friendly. On request they play the instruments and also tell the history. Tour with guide is also available in afternoon slot. The top floor is open since an year now for public. Some of the original carpets of the castle which were taken out timely and stored in the basement of the castle when it was destroyed during world war can also be seen on the top floor. Photographs and video shoot is allowed. It is also wheel chair accessible. The Schloss garden is a nice walk with beautiful sculptures...

Wir haben den Geburtstag meines Kindes im Schloss Bruchsal gefeiert. Leider waren wir aus mehreren Gründen sehr unzufrieden mit der Veranstaltung, und ich möchte diese Gelegenheit nutzen, um unsere Erfahrungen zu teilen.

Zunächst einmal war die Organisation der Feier nicht zufriedenstellend. Obwohl wir die Führung „Einmal Prinz oder Prinzessin im Schloss des Fürstbischofs sein“ gebucht und bezahlt hatten, haben wir eine andere Führung bekommen.

Darüber hinaus empfanden wir als Begleitpersonen das Verhalten der Dame, die die Führung durchführte, als völlig unangebracht.

Hier ein paar Beispiele: Ich wurde gefragt, ob ich als Mutter nicht zu alt für meinen jüngsten Sohn sei. Ein 7-jähriger Junge (mit langen Haaren) wurde von der Dame die ganze Zeit als „Mädchen“ bezeichnet. Als sie ihm beim Verkleiden ein Kleid gab, meinte er, dass er ein Junge sei, worauf sie antwortete: „Da wäre ich mir nicht so sicher.“ Wir als Begleitpersonen mussten sie mehrmals darauf hinweisen, dass er kein Mädchen ist. Erst als mein ältester Sohn es sehr deutlich gesagt hat, hat sie aufgehört, ihn „Mädchen“ zu nennen. Es wurde durchgehend verlangt, dass die Kinder sich ruhig verhalten, und wir haben 3 Stunden lang nur „psssh“ von der Dame gehört. Ein Kind wurde beinahe dazu gedrängt, sich zu verkleiden, bis ich eingeschritten bin. Erst beim Essen hat die Dame angefangen, die Stifte für das Basteln vorzubereiten. Das „Basteln“ war kein Basteln! Die Kinder haben zwei leere Blätter bekommen und sollten „nach ihrer Fantasie“ malen und die Blätter im Anschluss zu einem Fächer falten.

Im Endeffekt war der Geburtstag meines Sohnes nach den geschilderten Geschehnissen ein totaler Reinfall, und die 160€ für 7 Kinder und 3 Erwachsene ist meiner Meinung nach für die erbrachte Leistung...
