Schloss Bürresheim — Attraction in Vordereifel

I have a big problem with those places who don't post on their website that "you are not allowed to take pictures inside". As a fair-player I'd like to know before I pay that are some rules and one of them is that: no photos are allowed to be taken. It's stilling the joy and simultaneously I found it rude to be admonished that I "don't know that thing. Duh!" Everything the guide told us, I've already saw on YouTube,last night, more detailed and with more interesting facts. The fact that the guy was wandering alone inside and filming made me think that it's acctually a fact and we will have time to capture some details. I don't say it's not interesting to see. No! I say that it's interesting when you are in rent, bored and you add a little "hike" to see something. It doesn't add nothing just seeing, some people root their experiences and that's why many are extremly disappointed that it's just a sterile walk. I took my disappointment and disagreements out, took some shoots and that was all. It's not the place, but the people and their interests that makes you feel extremely sad. We should preserve, off course. But nowdays everyone use the excuse of copyright. Have they ever heard of FAIR USE, that allows limited use of copyrighted material for purposes like criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research, but only under specific circumstances? I guess not. So, yeah! I will not be 100% subjective if I don't recommend this place. Why? Well, because it's not suited for photographers, for vlogs, for individuals seeking to recommend this place for a visit. I guess the "owners" should be more flexible in those times and more...

I went here as a faan of indiana jones, this castle, sorry to say: was not worth the money or the tour. If you like me comes here too have an exciting making of-indianajones experience.

I understand German fine, so I understood the tourguide well. But the castles story was very boring, and the guides didn’t do anything to make it exciting..

Too bad! This castle could be a moneymaker, if they did some work on the whole experience..

The only BIG PLUS on this Castle, -is its outside beauty! (Too bad the garden isn’t much to see but a few pyramid pines)..

The other reviews are wrong! This isn’t a funny interesting one!

Bürresheim Castle

Schloss Bürresheim je skriveni dragulj regije Eifel, smešten nedaleko od mesta St. Johann u Nemačkoj, i predstavlja jedan od retkih zamkova u Rajni koji nikada nisu bili razoreni ratom ili napušteni. Sagrađen u 12. veku, zamak je tokom vekova dograđivan i transformisan, pa danas spaja romanički, gotički i barokni stil u jedinstvenoj arhitektonskoj celini. Zahvaljujući prirodnom položaju na stenovitom uzvišenju, iz zamka se pruža pogled na okolne šumske doline, a prilaz vodi kroz bujnu vegetaciju, što posetu čini dodatno romantičnom. Recenzije ističu mir i spokoj koji vladaju oko celog kompleksa, kao i tišinu koju retko narušavaju veće turističke grupe. Vodiči su pohvaljeni zbog svoje stručnosti i entuzijazma, a svaki deo ture je vremenski odmeren tako da se sve stigne bez žurbe.

Ljubitelji istorije mogu povezati posetu Bürresheimu sa obilaskom zamkova Eltz i Thurant, koji su takođe u okolini. Cene ulaznica su pristupačne, a iskustvo obilaska upotpunjuje osećaj putovanja u prošlost.
