This was an amazing boat ride. It's small, but my group and I felt very safe. He showed us from a water's point of view, the fish market, where boats are made and fixed. He also explained fisherman culture, the industry, the roles of men and when, and what the flag means.

The most impactful thing, however, was being in the boat with an understanding that this was the last view of the land that our ancestors knew, loved, and built a life on before they were snatched and forces into enslavement.
