It was very Nice and I visited the Aubri Mountains Water Falls. It was a very spiritually rewarding experience.. They told me I could drink the Water right out of the river there... I witness a 4 wheeler stop with 5 gallons containers filling up with real sacred Aubri Mountain Water.. The pineapples there on the road side where all a darker shade of yellow almost Golden and very sweet...How back to nature is that.. I saw a Bamboo tree, and acres of Pineapples and a sacred Tombstone Rock formation that my tour guide gave me the history of.. You S Prime took us by a farm where he works caring for all the Animals and the property. There were Sheep and Goat.. He explain that the Goats lead the Sheep.. There was a pregnant female Hog and male Hog and numerous Chickens.. I had a tremendous time with our enlighten tour guide You S Prime.. A special shout out the the Motor Cycle community there that play a very important role in tourism business in that part of the Aubri Mountains. Our Biker really went the extra mile to make our trip a rewarding and successful visit. The Biker we had transported 3 of us a one time. It was dangerous and exciting and I was very thankful we didn't get hurt.. God was protecting all of us..

Aburi Botanical Gardens is a garden in Aburi in Eastern region of Ghana The garden occupies an area of 64.8 hectares. It was opened in March, 1890 and was founded by Governor William Brandford-Griffith and Dr John Farrell Easmon, a Sierra Leonean medical doctor.[1] Before the garden was established, it was the site of a sanatorium built in 1875 for Gold Coast government officials. During the governorship of William Brandford-Griffith, a Basel missionary and Jamaican Moravian, Alexander Worthy Clerk, supervised clearing of land around the sanatorium to start the Botanic Department. In 1890 William Crowther, a student from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, was appointed the garden's first curator. The gardens played an important role in encouraging cocoa production in South Ghana, by supplying cheap cocoa seedlings and information about scientific farming methods. After Hevea brasiliensis was sent to Aburi from Kew in 1893, the gardens also encouraged rubber production in Ghana.

I'm not exactly sure how to rate this place so I'm giving it a three stars. When you come here you have a choice as whoever to have a guided tour or not and I may suggest that you go for a guided tour give and that if you just walk through to botanical gardens here all you're going to see are a handful of trees and a pretty nature walk of sorts there wasn't much in the way of variety when it comes to flowers and things you would be used to seeing in a botanical garden in America so I think the guide may be somewhat necessary although I am not sure what more it could add besides telling us the history of the trees and things that were there. Also be prepared that if you used an Uber to get there if you do not leave before I want to say 2:00 p.m. it will be hard to get a Uber back if you came from Accra. You should be prepared to need a taxi to go down the hill to the nearest mall before you can get it Uber to take you all the way back to anything in Accra

The entrance welcomes you to tall royal palm trees on the side of road leading to the garden and restaurant. The garden also hosts different species of trees and it is good to note, these trees have been labelled with their local and botanical names under them.
