On arrival, 21/03/24 we found this property in a deplorable state, strong unpleasant smell, thick dust, stained bedding, broken pool tiles, cracked mirror, broken lamps, windows need replacing but it was the dangerous electrical wiring and fittings that posed a serious threat. To add insult to injury we had trustingly transferred £50 / 800Ghc to Oscar the housekeeper to pay for fish in preparation of our arrival whilst the remaining balance would go towards extra costs incurred during our stay. This has not been reimbursed as promised, this is theft. After some difficulty the unscrupulous owner finally returned a refund (partial) but said she is paying only in goodwill, therefore refusing to acknowledge the seriousness of these issues. This property is seriously neglected in fact the whole surrounding area for miles leading up to this place looks like a building site. Read moreMy stay at Langma Beach House has got to be one of the best homes and places I have visited (and I have extensively travelled and stayed at various homes in many countries). July 2024. 2nd time staying at this rustic charming house and it wont be the last. The charming grounds of the property lead to fantastic sea views (see some photo shots). The excellent customer service provided by the host and the grounds manager (Oscar)....I couldn't ask for more. The cook prepared fantastic meals to your own taste. I asked for typical Ghanaian meals; and they rivalled any 5 star restaurant. Apart from the rest and relaxation in the lovely air conditioned spacious rooms...the beach walks and activities are excellent. The majority of the roads leading to the beaches and hotels along this stretch are uneven....but a small price to pay upon reaching this destination. I absolutely loved it here. 100%...
