Everything could have been way better, and I'll list them below; Services: Services around here were really not up to standard, sometimes the reception is left unattended for a long period of time, and I know you're wondering why I have to go to the reception to get their attention. It is because they do not have intercoms in the rooms, and expected us to use whatsapp instead wifi: The wifi was very poor, even after putting the modem in my room it still was very epileptic, and as a tourist, my home sim was not active and I was cut out from the world, I had to return the modem to the reception officer and they brought it back upstairs and placed it on the corridor, where it then seemed to work. At midnight someone had gone and retrieved it and now once again I and my wife were disconnected from the rest of the world. Refund policy: Less than an hour after checking in and making payment, I realized I would not be able to stay for the 2 days I had paid for because it was so uncomfortable already not seeing everything promised online, we are honeymooners and for us, we came here to make memories that would last a lifetime, we realized we wouldn't be able to create such memories with the state of things in and around us at the Ellisa hospitality facility. We had requested to shorten our stay to just one night and we insisted on a refund for the second day. However, Oscar (the manager) after asking us to allow him to confirm from the management, got back to us saying we could not get a refund for the second day. I would have you know that I paid 1026Ghc just less than an hour after I was told I would not be getting my money back. Now you must realize how frustrated I was made to feel. Upon check-out, I insisted on getting a receipt which took about 15 minutes to be produced, and my reason for this was so that I would have proof that I was indeed a guest at this place. Pool: was not operational
It’s appalling that rather than take my feedback and improve, you chose to slander me and cook up stories that never happened. I wish whoever chooses to visit this place all the best. And hopefully you have a better...
Read moreThe food they prepare is good and the rooms are clean and OK, except for the water that was coming out under the shower because of a leakage. This water enters the structure and will damage it further. Once I was under the shower full of soap, and the water stopped coming. My wife had to bring bottles with drinking water, so I could wash the soap off. Soon they started pumping again, but why wait until the tank is all empty?
The sliding door to the bar is not working, one has to lift it with a lot of force. And the transport foil of the door is still not removed after years.
One reason why we booked the hotel was the pool, but this pool is leaking and there is just little water in it.
Instead of sending the employees to clean the beach (like at Sankofa next door do it) or do other useful things they chill or listen to music when there are no customers. But this is not their fault, it is the management. In the bar (dining room) there are 6 bulbs, 5 where broken, so we brought our own light, because we want to see our food properly when we are eating. The next day even the last bulb went off, the only source of light left was the fridge and our lamp. And when they replaced only one broken bulb...
Read moreI totally enjoyed my stay here. Their hospitality is top notch. From the first person I contacted on phone for enquiries to all the people working at the resort. The staff are polite and nice, especially Erica at the reception. Once they knew we were traveling from afar, they kept constant communication helping with directions and all. The room was decorated on arrival which was a nice surprise because we weren't expecting that. Their meals are really good too, especially banku and tilapia. They also called a taxi to send us back. The road wasn't so good, but because I read that on previous reviews, I psyched myself. In all, I had a great stay and it's a really nice place if you need a getaway from your busy schedules. My husband and I kept joking that we were not in Accra, it gives that feel. I'll miss the early morning walks on the beach and the calm ambience of the place...
