As much as i wanted to give it 5 stars, i must be objective in order to help people who read this, to get a proper accomodation. It is the clean beach but it's a Stavros - Asprovalta type of sand so the water is muddy and blurred, pretty dark, wich i personally don't like. No parking space. There is one central parking lot in the village, near Aristotel statue but it gets overcrowded around 6 and then you have to drive too far from your accomodations. Prices of accomodations are truly high if you are renting a good place to stay. Few shops (also higher prices), one pharmacy that works til 1 and from 6 to 22h. This place could be truly boring if you are a teenager, if you came without kids, if you want some fun besides sun and the sea. For at least half of the money, a person can rent the same size of apartment in Stavros and drive to those perfect beaches. Also the road is very nasty at night (curvy, mountain road near the coastline with no lights or cat eyes) so God forbid if you must go out of the village. Nights are much colder then the days, it's because the village is under the hill all surrounded by the...
Read moreFor us, it was a 2-star experience compared to other beaches within a 2-hour drive. While I understand that the weather—being very windy during mid-August—was beyond anyone's control, it did make the sea rough and the water murky at this particular beach. Interestingly, the water was cleaner at other nearby beaches on the same day. Unfortunately, the quality of the beach chairs was extremely poor across several establishments we inspected, making it hard to imagine how anyone could relax on them. Another issue we encountered was the prevalence of second-hand smoke, which made it difficult to enjoy the beach. Additionally, there wasn’t much space to...
