Small beach conveniently close to Athens. Very few areas to park. You have to walk down steps and an alley way so not easily accessible. Combination of pebbles and sand so it’s a little bit tricky to walk in to the water. It’s nice and quite in the week, some shady spots from trees but the beach is quite narrow so I imagine it can get crowded on weekends. It got very wavy later on in the day. The cleaf is mildly red, which gives the name to the beach, but it is not spectacular. It is close to the port, so frequently, you breathe diesel fumes from the ships.
