Ammoussa Beach — Attraction in Lefkada Municipality

This is one of the cheapest and most comfortable beach for parking+sunbeds combination in Lefkada as it has free parking (mostly in shade) and 7€ cost for 2 sunbeds and umbrella as of 2022. Parking is just next to the beach. Road from Vasiliki was pretty ok. We arrived here around 9am and were the second people on the beach. Around 11 - 11:30 all sunbeds were full (September 2022). There is a cafe next to the beach for which you can find the menu on all sunbeds without prices. Sea was very calm and it got 1.7m deep after around 8-10meters. It has pebbles so you will mostly need sea shoes. The downside is the sea gets crowded especially in the areas close to the shore. Hard to get to beach by road. Tight, dirt road with a lot of stones and bumps. Not recommending to go with your personal car. You can rent a bike or atv or go by boat. You can park before the beach for 7 Euros. Two sunbeds and umbrella for 10 Euros. The person collecting the fees came after every sunbed was taken so if you leave earlier you can get a free one. The free area is very small. The beach has crystal clear water, a lot of fishes in the early hours, rocks to do high jumps and was one of the most enjoyable beaches I visited. Great beach! Very good for snorkeling as there are lots of fishes, especially close to the side rocky shores. Bring your snorkeling equipment! Perfect for families with kids (with floating devices or swimmers) as there are no waves. However, the water depth increases abruptly very close to the shore. Water shoes are recommended for the shore as there are only pebbles. One umbrella with 2 chairs is 10 Euro/day. There is also a small area, dedicated for personal umbrellas. The restaurant and bar nearby have a diversified menu.
