Agios Pavlos Sandhills' beach — Attraction in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

One of the best beaches around the south central Crete. There is a hill to go down/climb from the parking lot but its worth it. You will find a beach almost empty (we ve been in 20 september). There are some nudist people but the beach is so big that there is plenty of space to be far away from anyone. By far the best beach in this part of the island!! Quite long and the entrance to the water is not very deep, depending on where you are. You could drive to Agios Pavlos beach and then take a rather steep but short trail or drive to Triopetra beach and go all the way left.
