The Archaeological Museum of Aigion is a museum in Aigion, Greece opened on August 6, 1994. The building of the museum which originally housed the municipal market of Aigio. It was designed by the architect Ernst Ziller and was built in 1890.

A small archaeological museum. Decent for the small town of Aigio. Mostly mycenaec pottery (some very nice) and some gold jewellery and a few nice statues.

Επισκεφθήκαμε το Αίγιο πρωτη φορά και φυσικά δεν θα μπορουσαμε να μην παμε στο μουσείο του. Το μουσείο είναι στεγασμενο σε έναν χώρο ο οποίος ήταν παλιά η κεντρική αγορά του Αιγίου,βλέποντας το κτήριο βλέπεις ποσο όμορφο και προσεγμενο είναι. Οι καφέ πορτες που χωρίζονται με κολόνες παλιά στεγαζαν και από ένα μαγαζακι που αποτελούσε την αγορά τότε. Παρ όλο που έκαναν εργασίες γιατί φτιάχνουν τον χώρο με τα αγαλματα είχαμε μια πολυ ωραια ξενάγηση από τον κυριο που βρισκόταν εκεί. Μας εξηγούσε τα αντικείμενα με πολύ ωραίο τρόπο.Συμφωνησαμε ότι ήταν η πιο ωραία ξενάγηση σε μουσείο. Σας ευχαριστουμε πολυ! Θα το επισκεφθούμε ξανά σε 1-2 χρόνια που θα έχουν τελειώσει οι εργασίες. Αν βρίσκεστε κοντά να πατε . Αν είστε φοιτητής η είσοδος είναι δωρεάν, αν όχι τότε το κόστος...
