I really don't understand these few people rating and write bad comments about the place. And specially about the path and wrong Google indications. For God's sake!! What would you have done people without Google map?? Would you stay home?? What were you doing 25-20 years ago?? Life is also discovering, looking, a bit of adventure!! Leaving Kranidi, before Fourni village, there is a sign, turn left, park wherever next to the beach and to the left a short walk of about 20-25 min takes you to the cave. We were three people going there, nothing difficult, some part is a path, in some moments you walk, NOT CLIMBING, on some small rocks. If you are a little bit fit, I mean not handicapped, you can easily make it. And after you are back, take a nice swim. I rate it with 4 stars because the cave itself is nothing really impressive. Nothing like Diros caves in the South of Peloponnese, or the thousand lakes cave in Klitoria. But still a pleasant time, walk, visit, walk, swim. And I think it's not very polite that someone wrote " Typical greeks blablabla.. " I think it's unfair, mean, impolite. If you really knew that we are not so organized, then don't come, stay in Germany or go to other places where for sure ( I have to admit) countries are more. At least try to enjoy life, stop complaining about small things. Other people are not even able...
Read moreWhat an adventure! Amazing scenery, gorgeous views and the cave was so very peaceful. Not many (if any) tourists at all.
The road (by car) is in rather bad condition, lots of potholes. The hiking route on the contrary is very well kept! Really easy to follow all the markings and it seemed there has really been put effort into keeping the trail clean.
We took the route from the beach, which we recommend. Do wear shoes, as it's a rocky hike. Also bring your swimming clothes, as the beach is gorgeous! The beach has beautiful turquoise water with sand and small pebbles.
