Douglas 1969 — Restaurant in Municipality of Ermionida

We were all hungry and looking for somewhere to eat. Limited options because of the time and also it was November, but this place was open and the owner seemed friendly. Kids liked the old school fishing decor, but the food, well that was a surprise! We all agreed that it was the best food we had in two weeks. The meze starters, greek salad and seafood mains were all superb. The fish/seafood was coming in from the boats, while we were sitting down. If we end up this way again, then almost certainly will come back...

I'm struggling to find the positives. It feels like you are sat exposed on the side of the road and every time an old farm truck goes by, you get a lungful of diesel fumes.

The service hierarchy is strange, giving the impression that the owner loves to impose himself as the big boss man. As another reviewer said, it feels like the 1980's or 90's.

Very good restaurant with traditional Greek food. No menue. They will present you with a tray of prepared starters and you just pick the dishes you like. Then you are offered meat or fish, this is fresh and uncooked, so when you have chosen, it is then cooked to perfection in the kitchen. Salad or vegetables are ordered with the main dish.
